Hewitson Walker is delighted to be recruiting a Financial Controller for a 6-month contract with a national business based in Basingstoke. This is a pivotal role within the senior finance team and you will have responsibility for financial controls, monthly management accounts, forecasting & reporting, with involvement in strategic and operational planning across 3 divisions. This post offers the successful candidate the opportunity to develop reporting processes and get involved with detailed profitability analysis.
We are looking for a fully qualified finance professional for this role, with a background in technical accounting coupled with a commercial mindset. You will inherit 2 direct reports; so previous man-management experience is preferable. An ability to work in a demanding environment, with conflicting workloads is essential, as is the ability to build solid working relationships both internally and externally.
This role offers a car allowance plus other benefits, This is an urgent requirement and due to internal re-organisation, you should be available at fairly short notice as comprehensive handover is required.
